Hey there! I'm Catalina, the mom behind GC Candle Studio, where every candle tells a story of resilience, hope, and the enduring power of love.

Life with my two adorable toddlers, Georgia and Chloe, is a whirlwind of joy, chaos, and endless love. But let me tell you, it hasn't always been easy.

After each birth, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression. Every day felt like a battle, and I desperately needed something to help me break free from the darkness that seemed to be closing in.

That's when I discovered the magic of candle making. It started as a simple hobby and a challenge, something to occupy my mind and distract me from the overwhelming feelings that threatened to consume me. But as I poured my heart and soul into crafting each candle and studying the process, something amazing happened.

With every flicker of the flame, I found a sense of peace and tranquillity washing over me. The sweet scents of pure natural ingredients and each unique shape of these candles became my refuge in the midst of the storm.

As I immersed myself in the art of candle making, I began to feel a glimmer of hope return to my life. The repetitive motions of melting wax and carefully pouring it into molds became a form of meditation, grounding me in the present moment and giving me a sense of purpose.

Before I knew it, friends and family were asking me to make candles for them too. They loved the unique designs and the cozy atmosphere they created in their homes. And that's when I realized that my passion could become something more.

With the support of my loved ones, I decided to turn my hobby into a business. And so, GC Candle Studio was born. Each candle is lovingly handcrafted with the same care and attention to detail that helped me find my way back to happiness.

Now, as I watch my little ones playing happily around me, I feel grateful for the journey that led me here. Candle making may have started as a way to cope with my struggles, but it has blossomed into so much more. It's a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is always light waiting to be found.
